June Tabor - very well respected folk singer, ex Steeleye Span but a bit too miserable for my liking
Kate Rusby - Voice of an angel, sexy in a little-girly type way, Barnsley accent
Julie Fowlis - Fantastic voice, sings many songs in native Scottish languages but provides translation!
Laura Cantrell - don't know of her
Gorgol Bordello - Have never seen them but have heard they're fantastic - wild Gypsy music.
Capercallie - Another band that have been in existence for years, probably the best Scottish folk-rock band around.
I take it you are going to Wickham Folk Festival, TCA? I'll see you there, I'll be morris dancing!
